Alex has twenty years of experience lecturing and supervising research in Education for Sustainable Development (ESD), sustainable business, and responsible leadership. She has led both modules and master’s programmes, bringing together academic leadership and innovative curriculum design. A former member of the London Regional Centre of Expertise on ESD, she applies her expertise to create impactful sustainability education for diverse audiences. Her expertise includes the whole-school approach to sustainability and problem-based learning, which she integrates into her teaching and programme design. Alex has published in the fields of sustainability, climate education, and circular economy education, and co-authored the award-winning Carbon Literacy Training for Higher Education Institutions (HEI), which she has delivered to staff and students at universities internationally. She currently holds research affiliations at Universiteit Hasselt and Vrije Universiteit Brussel.
