Yelena has worked in higher education since 2016 and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. She is carbon literate and places a strong focus on sustainability and employability in her teaching and academic practice. Yelena has taught and led modules in strategy, corporate finance, managerial and financial accounting, banking, and other business subjects, as well as sustainable finance and employability modules. Holding a BA (Hons) in Business Administration with Marketing, an Advanced Diploma in Accounting and Business (ACCA), and an MSc in Accounting and Business Finance, she brings expertise in business, accounting, and finance with a broad perspective. Yelena also has extensive experience in content creation and student engagement, enriching the student experience and supporting graduate employability.
