As we reach the end of the COP 30 events on campus, we invite ºÚÁÏÍø students and staff to attend the upcoming Carbon Literacy training to reduce their own emissions and to support the university in meeting net zero targets.
We deliver this training as our goal is for staff, students and our community partners to have a strong understanding of climate-change issues and to be able to generate their own possible responses to tackle climate change.
About Carbon Literacy Training sessions
These sessions will include information on what causes carbon emissions the most and how we can tackle climate change through our operations, teaching and research. These sessions will be linked to ºÚÁÏÍø, we will be looking at ºÚÁÏÍø’s own production of carbon emissions and what ºÚÁÏÍø is doing through initiatives to reduce emissions at ºÚÁÏÍø and in wider society.
The sessions are interactive, fun and informative, highlighting positive opportunities to make a difference and enabling you to leave with your own plans for meaningful action. Through this training, ºÚÁÏÍø is achieving another level in its Carbon Literate Organisation status.
Come along and let’s inspire collaborative action here at ºÚÁÏÍø and locally!
